Prague is one of Europe’s most historic and cultural cities and it has an impressive range of architecture dating from some of the most influential historical periods. Prague enjoys some of this architecture today as a result of its location in the Second World War, during which it suffered much less damage from aerial bombing than other cities such as Paris and London. Prague city centre is rich with architecture from the renaissance, gothic and bohemian eras amongst others. Modern architecture has also sprung up amongst the older buildings, giving Prague a varied and interesting city centre for tourists who love to explore.

There are a wide range of hotels in Prague city centre, offering convenient accommodation for visitors wishing to stay close to the heart of the city. Prague is a great destination for a weekend break, and it is one of the most popular city locations in Europe. The many sights of Prague’s city centre include the famous Astronomical Clock, which is a medieval clock set high into a tower. It features a dial which represents the position of the sun and moon in the sky, a calendar dial, and an hourly show of small figures of the Apostles. It is a popular tourist attraction, and many people gather in the square below to watch the clock’s hourly show. The city also houses the Charles Bridge, a very picturesque site that saw a bloody battle during the Thirty Years War. Prague is also home to many beautiful buildings, art galleries, museums, theatres, and a very popular zoo.

Hotels in Prague city centre for visitors are easy to find, and many are situated within walking distance of the main old town. Prague does have a metro network to help tourists and citizens get around the city quickly and easily, and many hotels in Prague city centre will be close to a station. The distance to stations is always good to check when you are looking for hotels in Prague city centre, particularly if you intend to use the metro network during your visit.

When you are planning your trip and searching for hotels in Prague city centre, doing some research on the city beforehand is often a great way to ensure that you see all that Prague has to offer. Buying guidebooks and looking online are all great ways to find out about the city’s past and the tourist attractions which are available. Prague has many art galleries and museums in which you can learn about the city’s past and the influences upon its architecture and residents. Evenings in Prague can be spent going to the theatre or ballet, or even perhaps an opera.

There are hundreds of restaurants to choose from, and if you are staying in the city centre there should be a good variety within walking distance. Again, doing a little research before you go is a good way to plan your trip, and will make sure that you don’t miss anything. Prague is a great destination for those who are after a cultural weekend away, and can also keep visitors entertained on longer trips, with the chance to really explore the city and all it has to offer.

Being the capital city of Northern Ireland, Belfast has a lot to offer visitors who are after a quick mini break in a bustling city. Historically, Belfast has been associated with a period of political unrest known as ‘the Troubles’, however the city emerged into a time of economic and commercial growth and now has a rapidly expanding tourist industry.

Hotels in Belfast are easy to find, and visitors to the city can enjoy luxury accommodation right in the heart of the city. Travelling to Belfast is easy, with two large airports and a sea port offering transport for both commercial travel and industrial transportation. For visitors to Belfast, the city can offer a wide range of impressive architecture, art galleries, museums, theatres, cinemas, shopping districts and restaurants. Many people choose Belfast for a short city break, as it is convenient to reach from the UK and can provide all the ingredients for a great break from work!

Hotels in Belfast can be booked easily online, and for the ultimate weekend away a luxury hotel is an essential aspect of your trip. Many couples enjoy exploring Belfast’s picturesque parks, museums and art galleries, and then winding down the day by spending the evening in a great restaurant. City centre hotels in Belfast are perfectly placed for this style of break, and can provide a great base for exploring the city. A luxurious hotel should give you a well deserved break from the responsibilities and chores that you encounter at home, and features such as twenty four hour room service and valet parking can all make your stay that little bit more luxurious.

Hotels in Belfast which operate at a very high standard can be a real treat for a weekend break, and little luxuries such as plump pillows, Egyptian cotton sheets and sweet-smelling bubble bath will help you to relax after a long day on your feet. Free Wi-Fi and flat screen televisions are great additions to any hotel room for those who can’t leave their technology behind, and a good bar and restaurant situated within the hotel is essential. Most top hotels in Belfast will incorporate a restaurant and bar, and it is worth making sure of this before you book.

Exploring the city’s many culinary delights is all part of a great mini break, however after a long day of exploring or shopping, you may just wish to have a delicious dinner close at hand in your hotel, rather than having to venture out again. A welcoming and well stocked bar is also a must, for enjoying after dinner drinks or a quick bite before a theatre performance. Having a luxury mini break is all about treating yourself, so room service is also a great facility to look for in a hotel, for those all important midnight snacks of breakfasts in bed! Exploring Belfast can make a great mini break, and a luxurious hotel can help you to make the most of your time in the city, and return feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

London is a fantastic destination for an exciting weekend away, and there are hundreds of attractions, restaurants, and top London hotels to make your stay into the perfect mini break! London is a great city for a romantic weekend away, and many couples choose to escape for a few days of sightseeing, theatre trips, fantastic food and pampering. There are lots of top London hotels which make the perfect base from which to explore the city. Treating yourself to a weekend in a luxury hotel can be a rare treat for most people, and little luxuries such as room service, plump pillows and valet parking can make your stay feel that little bit more special. A weekend away is all about spoiling yourself and having a break from the chores and work you normally have to do at home, so staying in a luxurious hotel is a must!

Some top London hotels may include extra facilities such as spa areas and gyms to help you relax after a long day. On site restaurants and bars are always handy, for a romantic dinner after a long day of exploring the city. Spending your evenings finding fantastic places to eat is a big part of any city break, but for those days when you just can’t walk another step a great restaurant in your hotel is essential!

Most top London hotels will be within the city’s main central districts, and should be fairly close to tourist attractions and transport links. London’s famous black cabs are easy to find all over the city, and are great for taking a trip to the theatre or a restaurant. For exploring the city during the day, the underground is a cheap and quick way to visit all your favourite tourist attractions. When you are searching for a hotel, it is a good idea to check how close the nearest tube station is, so that you will be able to get around easily. This is also vital if you are using public transport to get to London; if you are travelling by train then you may need to use the underground to get to your hotel. A station close to where you are staying is helpful, to avoid carrying your luggage through the streets in search of your hotel! Alternatively, for those travelling into the city by car then secure car parking is essential, and a valet service at the hotel can make your arrival quick and simple.

A knowledgeable and helpful reception service is also provided at the vast majority of top London hotels. Staff should be able to advise you on your plans for the day, and provide maps, directions, and even umbrellas for those unexpected typically English showers! Reception staff should also be able to arrange tickets and make reservations for any theatre performances and restaurants you may wish to attend during your stay. For the perfect romantic city break, it is important to find a luxurious hotel which can help you make the most of your stay, whether you wish to see the sights, shop till you drop, or simply relax!

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast even offers 24 hour room service, for those mornings when you fancy breakfast in bed!

The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast is a great place to meet with friends and enjoy drinks or dinner, or even just to celebrate time away with a romantic dinner for two. In the hotel restaurant a Michelin star chef has created a menu which is traditional yet luxurious. This menu features favourites such as beef wellington in a rich burgundy wine sauce. There is a wide variety of wines, starters and desserts to complement any meal. The bar is contemporary with over 700 spirits and liquors available to sample. The Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast even has a glass walled board room suspended above the lobby for private functions!

A weekend break at the Fitzwilliam Hotel Belfast is a great way to treat yourself and someone special to a luxurious weekend city break. Belfast provides a wide variety of theatres, restaurants, sports events and shopping areas, as well as having an interesting history. Choosing a luxury hotel with sumptuous decoration and delicious restaurants on site may mean that you rarely want to leave your room!

Belfast is very easy to travel to without having to endure long haul flights, making it the perfect city for a quick getaway over the summer. Families can enjoy the many cultural attractions that the city has to offer, and there is currently a large amount of development taking place within the city’s ‘Titanic’ quarter. This will feature an overhaul of the general area, with informative and educational attractions based around the ill-fated Titanic which was built in Belfast.

London is one of the worlds most famous and historical capital cities, and tourists come from afar to marvel at the old bridges, towers and cathedrals that made London famous. Added to the fascinating historical elements of London’s layout are many modern attractions and feats of engineering such as the London Eye, the Tate Modern, and the Millennium Bridge. Whilst many people come to experience London’s many attractions, thousands of people visit the capital to take advantage of the city’s famed shopping on Oxford Street. The many theatres and restaurants that are on offer can provide the perfect way to finish off a hectic day of shopping, and London can play host to many different types of city break.

Staying in London is easy, and when it comes to cheap hotel deals, London has a massive variety of places to stay. The style of accommodation you choose will depend on what kind of break you are planning. If you want to have a romantic weekend away with you loved one, booking a hotel which includes a spa can be a great idea. Also finding a hotel which offers good room service for midnight snacks and breakfast in bed is a good option!

If the city break you are planning includes sightseeing, theatre trips, trying new restaurants and shopping till you drop, you may not need as many services at your hotel. When you are booking your activities and searching for cheap hotel deals, London hotels which offer comfortable rooms with a good breakfast service are a good choice. With big days planned you’ll need to fill up on bacon and eggs before you set off, so an all inclusive breakfast and luxurious rooms to relax in after a long day are a must!

When planning your stay and looking for cheap hotel deals, London has a great range on offer to suit any visitor to the city. Before you start your search think carefully about the type of trip you are intending to have, and which amenities and services you are looking for in a hotel. A romantic spa may not be necessary for a weekend of shopping with the girls, so pick your priorities to get the best deal!

When searching for cheap hotel deals, London hotels are often easiest to book online. Any good hotel should have a comprehensive website which gives you information about the rooms available, the services which are on offer, and any restaurants, spa and gym facilities which the hotel can offer. This is a great way to do some research into the various options available. When you are narrowing down your list of cheap hotel deals, London hotel reviews can be a big help. There are many review sites available, but look for one which is reviewed by professional hotel experts rather than members of the public. Professional reviews are generally a little more objective, and should have a good amount of detail concerning the hotel’s services and level of comfort, helping you to choose the perfect place for your stay.

If spending time in the cheap hotel deals, London is something you’ve always dreamed of, why not pay us a visit at http://www.hotelconnect.co.uk/ where we can meet all your accommodation needs.

Jersey is a destination of choice for many people who are planning a summer holiday or short weekend break away, and the small island has many attractions to appeal to any holiday maker. The Jersey shoreline is varied and picturesque, with miles of sandy beaches to enjoy with the children, and cliff top walks for those who prefer to put on their hiking boots. There are also a wide range of water sports available, such as sailing and windsurfing. Many companies will be able to offer tuition to youngsters and beginners. The island’s range of hotels, restaurants and entertainment will never leave you bored or hungry, and Jersey’s dramatic history is well worth exploring on a visit to the island. Water sports and cliff walks can be packed into a fun-filled weekend away, or you can take a much more leisurely pace with a week’s holiday.

Jersey is also a great destination for couples and it has a wide range of hotels to suit any taste. From modern cosmopolitan interiors, to cosy traditional seaside guest houses, there are a wide range of options to suit any budget. You can enjoy a romantic dinner of fresh seafood and take an evening stroll along the sands, or indeed grab a quick bite and spend the evening watching one of the local entertainment shows. As the island is easy to reach from the UK, it is a great choice for a reasonably priced summer break.

If you are planning a summer visit to Jersey, cheap hotels are easy to find. Looking online is often a good way to get the best deal. From bustling seaside towns to quiet cliff top locations, there are many options to choose from and finding an online reviewer is a great way to find one that will suit you. When searching for Jersey cheap hotels, many people will use online ratings sites which collect customer reviews from registered members. Whilst these sites can be helpful, it is worth bearing in mind that these may not give a clear review of any hotel. Most customers will be motivated to leave a review if their stay was exceptionally good; or exceptionally bad!

Reviews will tend to be very positive or negative, with little in between.

If you have a friend or family member who travels a lot, especially internationally, they may have told you a few horror stories about how difficult keeping their personal items safe can be. The next time you are thinking about getting them travel gifts, consider a nice travel wallet. They are sure to love it and appreciate your good taste and concern for their safety.

Most men are used to carrying a regular wallet that flips open and that they keep in their trouser pocket or in the front pocket of their jacket. The problem with the standard, traditional wallets is that they are not safe and secure. Because of security threats and added restrictions, travellers are required to have proper identification and produce it when asked. So the travel wallet was created as a way to safely store identification and keep it secure. Most travellers would love to own one, so they always are great travel gifts.

One of the main security features on a travel wallet is the zip that goes completely around the three sides, locking it closed. Inside there are several sections for tickets and currency, and additional areas for pens and also a coin pouch. Properly used this wallet will keep your important identification forms safe, including passports, traveller’s cheques and airline tickets. Plus all your important papers will be in one place so it will be easier to manage and keep secure. These are very thoughtful travel gifts for anyone who does a great deal of travel.

While the travel wallet does an excellent job securing your personal items, it also is a good looking product. The cover is usually soft black leather and often comes with the passport logo on the front. In fact they have such a nice classic look that women will want one too. They are small and light enough to fit into most purses or totes, so that women can also keep their identification and travelling items safe. An additional bonus is that these wallets can be personalised with the owner’s initials embossed on the front, which is a nice touch when giving them as travel gifts.

Security is an important concern to everyone who travels for business or pleasure, whether we go by air or by rail or car. We never know when we will be asked to provide our identification and proof that we are legitimate and belong in the airport or train station, and this is especially true for international travel. We must be ready at all times and have our personal information easily available while at the same time keeping it always secure. The travel wallet does this by locking closed with a zip and being small enough to fit in a jacket pocket or purse. Once a traveller uses it, it is sure to become a must have item, one they will never leave behind when going out of town. So give these wallets as travel gifts and let your loved ones know you are thinking about their safety and security.

Xi’an is not always high on a Chinese travelers list. Most people find out that the Terracotta Army is situated just outside Xi’an when researching their trip … but then decide that Shaanxi is much too far out of the way, and that they’ll have to skip the Army, sadly. In fact, a trip to Xi’an may take a few hours, but is great value. There are plenty of budget Xi’an hotels and great activities to enjoy in the area. Today we check out some of the best Xi’an economy hotels, and what you’ll do when you’re not sleeping!

Jinjiang Inn Xi’an Downtown is located right in the center of Xi’an, amidst all the action of one of China’s mosyt important educational, cultural and industrial cities. You’ll probably be spending many of your days outside in the bracing Xi’an air, so why not experience the city life at nighttime? Jinjiang Inn Xi’an budget hotel is located within the very well-preserved City Wall of Xi’an, and so mixes ancient and contemporary culture. The property itself has cable TV, onsite restaurant, and free wireless internet in rooms … making it a bargain at around US$25 per night! There are quite a few other Jinjiang Inns throughout the city also, including budget Xi’an hotels at Xiaozhai Rd, Loumashi, Jinaguomen and Lijiacun. Rates are fairly standard across all of the Jinjiang Inns in Xi’an, although some properties do have executive rooms available at a slightly higher rate.

Jianguo Hotel in Xi’an is slightly more expensive than any of the Jinjiang Inns, but still great value and an excellent experience – compared to staying at a Hyatt hotel in the US. You can arrange through the hotel for a car to show you around the city – probably the easiest way to get to the Terracotta Warriors which are slightly outside Xi’an, as well as the Banpo Neolithic Village. The on-site food, both Western style and Chinese traditional, is top quality; however this Xi’an budget hotel is located in a fairly quiet area, so you’ll need to take a cab to sample any different eateries around the city.

Also priced around twice the range of the Jinjiang Inn Xi’an hotels is the Grand New World hotel. It is described as a no-frills, no-fuss place to stay in Xi’an, with nice interiors and a neat and cozy feel to the rooms. There is a delicious breakfast spread at this Xi’an economy hotel, one element of why Westerners feel so much at home here. When you’re surrounded by the strange and amazing sights of Xi’an, it can be wonderful to come back to something that feels a little more like home – and this economy hotel in Xi’an certainly does.

If you’re in Xi’an, don’t make the Terracotta Warriors your only visit away from the budget Xi’an hotel – make sure to visit:
- Banpo Neolithic Village
- The Lantian Man reconstruction in the Shaanxi Natural History Museum
- Famen Temple, one of the first Buddhist Temples in China
- The Bell Tower and Drum Tower
- The Stele Forest

Jinjiang Inn Inn was China’s first economy hotel chain, comprised of 480 branches across 31 provinces and 126 cities. Professional and pragmatic spirit, sincere and continuously improving service, and the pursuit of simple and stylish have been the hallmarks of the brand.

Sure, we can experience Chinese food on almost every street corner, we can see people with Chinese character tattoos walking past us every day, and we can watch mixed martial arts on every sport channel from every pay TV provider across the world.

But there’s really nothing like eating Cantonese food in Canton, hearing people speak Chinese as their native language and watching those who’ve grown up with Shaolin boxing, jujitsu, aikido and Muay Thai practice their sports with others who have combat in their blood! That’s what many tourists will be doing over the course of the Beijing Combat Games tournament from the 28th of August to the 4th of September.

Over a thousand martial artists will be competing in 13 disciplines, with martial arts as popular as ju-jitsu and as niche as wushu represented. All those bruised bodies, as well as many thousands more inspired fans, will be looking for some convenient, creative and well-catered Beijing accommodation and Beijing boutique hotels to stay at … today we check out some of the best.

Hotel G in Beijing is only a short 15 minute trip away from National Indoor Stadium, where most of the Combat Games events will be held. Spectators can make their way from the designer hotel in Beijing to the stadium on public transport just as easily as by taxi, also. Hotel G has sat at the top of the TripAdvisor ratings for quite a while now, consistently getting rave reviews since its opening a couple of years ago.

Even the lowest priced rooms in this gorgeous new Beijing boutique hotel have quite a few little luxuries, like rainforest showers for sore muscles after ‘training’, iPod docking stations to help you relax after the adrenaline-charged atmosphere of the games, and a Nintendo Wii is available for hire if you want to try out any new moves you picked up while watching the events!

The Beijing hotel itself is a fascinating place to stay, designed by Mark Lintott in a gorgeous vintage-inspired 1960s chic style. Artworks and massive TVs adorn the walls, there is a decadent pillow menu as well as delicious food from the on-site Japanese fusion restaurant attached to the Beijing designer hotel.

Shangri La’s Kerry Center Beijing Hotel in the Chaoyang district is also very well placed for tourists wanting to focus on the Combat Games, around 20 minutes either by car or public transport from Guanghua Road to the stadium, you still have the convenience of great nightspots and dining right near your Beijing hotel room.

The beds here are massive … if you’ve been imitating the Combat Games competitors and have a few bruises to nurse through the night, you’ll get a great night’s sleep at this bed and breakfast in Beijing. There are beautiful city or garden views as well as luxurious-feeling high ceilinged rooms.

Or if you want to feel like a real traditional Chinese martial arts practitioner, try Lu Song Yuan Hotel, a traditional compound quadrangle within an historic hutong. Standard rooms at this Beijing accommodation are basic but great value … probably a lot more like what Beijing’s olden-day martial monks would have experienced! This Beijing hotel is just as close as either Hotel G or Shangri-La, and very close to public transport.

Hotel G Beijing is the first of an exclusive beijing boutique hotel brand launched by Hong Kong-based real estate private equity management firm Gaw Capital and a model to be rolled out in selected cities of Asia.
