What things will you ask? Let’s take a look.

1. What type of Software is Available?
2. Can I get a template?
3. What Plans are Available?
4. How many pages can I have?
5. What protocols and applications are supported?

Now that we know the questions, it’s time to address the answers. Some of them are more difficult than others, but nonetheless we will tackle every single question. So let’s start with the first.

1. What type of Software is Available?

This is a good question and it varies between providers. When you are dealing with SmartSpace however, you will find that the software is built into the web page. This means you don’t need to download anything at all, and everything is done within your web browser. While some might rather have their own application, others will appreciate the ease of use that accompanies the web based HTML editor. In addition to creating basic web pages you will also find that it supports widgets, among other things.

2. Can I get a template?

All good web page designers come with a template, and SmartSpace is no exception. With it you can expect over 1500 templates, each one unique. You’ll be quite happy with the selection, regardless of whether you want to create a business page or a personal page. All of these templates are ready and available for you to take advantage of.

3. What Plans are Available?

There are a number of different plans available from SmartSpace, the lowest one costing $4.99/mth, and the highest costing $12.99/mth. The plans will involve different levels of service. The lowest end plan will provide you with five web pages, while the highest end one will provide you almost one thousand pages. It really depends on what you are using your website for.

4. How Many Pages can I Have?

The number of pages you will be allowed to have depends on the package that you buy outlined in the previous step. It really depends on what you are using the website for. If you are making a personal website then you might not need many pages. If you are doing a business website on the other hand then you need to contend with form pages, purchase pages, information, contact us, privacy, FAQ, etc. It can become very complicated, but SmartSpace will be there to guide you every step of the way.

5. What protocols and applications are supported?

You will find that unlike many web hosts, you can use Flash, Shockwave, Java, and a number of other web languages. These will make your web page more attractive, and your life easier overall. When you are using SmartSpace, you will be taken care of.

Make Your Life Much Easier Getting Your New Website Online Fast and Professionally using the SmartSpace Website Builder now!

Freelancers are like the middle men who trade talent and professional expertise to companies and thus form a beneficial link between the hiring companies and the potential candidates for the particular jobs available. These freelancers may be responsible to provide staffs of a lower stature or sometimes they are the useful resource for web design personnel who are fit for managerial positions. Some agencies have separate divisions for the same so that they can efficiently focus on different sectors of the job market.

Finding it difficult to find jobs in the current economy? Well it’s not just you who is suffering from joblessness due to the present poor unemployment rates but many others are in the same boat as you are as well. However, while some companies are shutting down there are others whose business is booming. They are in a spree of hiring new talented individuals into their web design company. Here comes the crucial role of staffing agencies in the development of your potential careers.

Freelancers reduce the hassle to go through the hiring process by a great deal. They do all the dirty work of filtering candidates and finding the one perfectly fit for the said job. The company benefits a lot from their service in terms of time and money. Most of the times, these agencies provide you with temporary staffs. Most of the companies need staff who are needed for a limited period of a certain project which may extend to just a span of a few months.

Besides it is difficult to directly hire someone as a permanent employee unless you are sure of their capabilities. Freelancers thus recruits employees who take up short assignments in other companies. This way the employees are constantly faced with newer challenges and thus it makes their job furthermore interesting. Currently, the demand for employees from freelancers is on a constant rise and with more and more manpower available it is just a piece of cake to employ candidates from these agencies.

The freelancers may vary in their terms of service with respect to the requirements of the particular company. If the company is in a dire need to replace someone for a short period of time or take care of a project that would last for a limited period the freelancers provide you with temporary staff. This also leaves you out from the tedious hiring process for prospective individuals who are fit for the job.

These freelancers protect any confidential information that may concern your company and make sure they filter out the most qualified and proficient individuals and direct them to your company. These agencies are transparent about the employee details that include personal records, academia and experience. Also from the candidate’s point of view they make sure that they are well informed about the position and terms of employment that is in accordance with the description given by the clients.

These freelancers make your recruiting-personnel-related problems evaporate in no time and offer world-class service for the same. They are responsible to get you in touch with professional and well experienced and skilled staff for your company irrespective of whether they belong to managerial, financial, administrative, clerical or service personnel category.

When the technical stuff scares you, you need to research and use web-based tools that let you create your own beautiful affiliate product review sites. The beauty of the web based tool sites are that they let you create a website that offers a product for sale in literally, 15 to 30 minutes.

Now if you think about it, you probably spend more time than that getting ready for your job in the morning. So why not start a business in that space?

Now I do not want to sound like pie in the sky, because just having a website doesn’t guarantee you’ll make any money, but when it comes to getting started, developing your web presence is rather large hurdle for most people. Well to be successful and get your business profitable on the web, you need to get over this hurdle fast. When you do, the path is clear to build your business.

When you move away from PC based tools and complicated scripts and go with a web based development tool you will see that these instant site launcher tools literally remove pretty much every single technical hurdle that stands in the way of most people who try to build their business on the web. The objective is to get to the profitable task of internet marketing.

The key to these web based development tool or as we like to say instant site launchers is that the web-based development tool really does not have any true development as part of it. The tool needs to let you create a website as easily as you would say order a book from Amazon or pick up a set of tools from Home Depot. The process to launch your website really needs to be that simple.

You want the process to be focused on you delivering a solution to sell, not the technical intricacies of the underlying technology. The requirements for the site launching process should walk you through how it works using wizards. These wizards should be like the ones Microsoft Word uses or Apple computer operating system uses for their legions of dedicated users. It needs to care for every step you will need to take in the process. There is nothing more frustrating than getting almost there and then boom you are stuck on step 30 or 32 and nowhere is there an explanation.

With the proper web based development tool, you should be able to make some choices, pick the appropriate options, click your mouse a few times and out pops a really appealing website that looks like you paid somebody thousands to create it.

It’s hard to imagine, I know with all the template solutions out there but it is possible when you do enough research to start figuring out what works and what does not.

Quick website development means increased profits. Gregory Burrus invites you to research and learn ways to instantly launch your site using automated too http://successismandatorytoday.com/services/automated-business-builders-instant-site-launchers/

People go to Google to search for web sites that have content on a certain topic that interests them. Once a keyword is entered and the Search button is clicked, Google returns a list of web sites that contain the keyword. It is not unusual for Google to get millions of web sites with that keyword.

It is always assumed that the very first site on the list will contain the most relevant content. That way, one would click on the web sites listed on the first, second, or third pages, rarely venturing beyond the tenth page.

However, some surfers complain that many of the sites they have visited contain only ads and very little content. Most sites sell products, and any information one can get will be about the goods being sold. Many are becoming frustrated; even if the Internet contains a lot of information, sometimes it is difficult to find the information you need.

One way to mitigate this growing frustration is to build a large directory of web sites that your visitors might enjoy. For example, if you are targeting visitors who want information about back aches, you can then create a web site directory full of links to similar sites.

What are the advantages of creating this web site directory? Here are some:

1. Your visitors will save time searching for web sites they will enjoy.

If you can write descriptions to the sites in your directory, your visitors will have an overview of the sites they plan to visit. That way, they can zero in on the sites they need much faster.

2. Your visitors will bookmark your web site instead of the individual site they will visit.

The list in our Bookmarks begins to get cluttered once we add more and more sites. If surfers can have a “jumping board” where they can go to other sites, they will be saving that site. This will mean surfers going to that site again and again.

Your web site directory can be that “jumping board” to a particular niche. You will then be getting traffic from users looking for information on your niche.

3. You can monetize your directory.

You can design your web site such that ads from AdSense will blend naturally with your site. You can also include affiliate links in your directory. However, ensure that you do not overdo this, as surfers might think your directory contains only advertisements. Provide good content, such as descriptions of the listed sites, as mentioned above, and your visitors will often return to your site.

By creating a directory of web sites you do not only help your visitors save time searching for information, you also have that opportunity to earn some money from your site.

In addition to an interest in Creating Websites, Ryan also runs a site for internet marketers providing new private label rights products, master resell rights products, articles, training and much more.

Joomla is a content management system, or CMS. A CMS is a used to manage work flow collaboratively using several different procedures. These procedures perform several functions that work together to make up the system. They allow contribution and data storage from many people. They control access based on roles. They make report writing easier and they improve communication. The data in such a system can be anything from documents to videos to telephone numbers. The management that occurs is usually industry or topic specific. There is web content management that is far different from digital records management.

Joomla is an open source type of content management system. It is a platform whose function is to publish web content as well as content for intranets. It has many features including RSS feeds, printable page views, blogs, polls, search capabilities and language internationalization. The package itself is made up of several parts. This provides the opportunity for extension modules and integrations. These extensions are sometimes referred to as plug-ins. More complex add-ons are called components. These allow for the development of a cyber community through expanded user features. Installation can be done manually on a PHP supportive system or it can be installed form a package management system or even a turnkey appliance.

The content management system known as Joomla came about in 2005. The name is the English of an Arabic word that means “all together.” The development process was truly collaborative. The public was even invited to submit logo ideas and then vote on their favourite from chosen submissions. The product release date was September 16, 2005. It won the Packt Publishing Open Source Content Management System Award in 2006 and again in 2007. A new version, version 1.5, was released in January of 2008 and version 1.5.15 was released in November of 2009.

As can be imagined, there are some criticisms of Joomla. It is an open source and thus free so many for profit system producers have an inherent problem with it. Other criticisms include the necessity for plug-ins or third party extensions for so many of the applications to be fully functional. Also, all pages have their own unique identification number. For a page to work within the framework, at least one menu item must be associated with it. This can be a confusing for novices. However, unlike its predecessors and colleagues in the field, it is a free, secure and relatively bug free content management system.

If you are getting ready to put together your first website for your small business, there are a number of things you will need to know before you get started. From managed web hosting versus shared hosting, and web design software versus hiring a real web designer, there are many decisions to be made as you are setting your website up. This list will help you make the decisions that are best for your unique situation.

Is this type of hosting right for you? There are two basic kinds of web hosting for small businesses: managed, also known as dedicated hosting, and shared hosting. Dedicated hosting is more expensive, as you are getting a server all to yourself, which means you alone bear the brunt of the cost of the purchasing, maintaining, and running the equipment. With shared hosting, you share the server with many other clients, with partitions so they can’t access your section of the server, which reduces the cost quite a bit.

In general, most small businesses who only want a website for advertising purposes shouldn’t need managed web hosting. The limited space and bandwidth, traffic, available with a shared hosting plan should be plenty for these types of small websites. However, as always there are exceptions to the rule.

For instance, if you happen to be launching an ecommerce website, you will probably want to have more storage space and bandwidth than a shared hosting plan can provide. Also, shared hosting tends to mean slower page loading times, since you are sharing the server with so many other websites. As a result, if you want or need your website to load as fast as possible, managed web hosting is probably the better choice for you.

Should you hire a designer? Hiring a web designer to build your website can cost a pretty penny, but if you get a good designer, you will probably be glad you did. A professionally designed website is usually much more attractive, and much more unique, than the cookie cutter designs website building software can offer.

Again, most small businesses will not have the budget or the need for expensive web designers. A website that is simply there to give your store’s hours and driving directions likely does not need to have a fancy design. Also, oftentimes a web designer doesn’t give you the files to your website, but uploads them to the server themselves; so if you want to be able to access and update your website whenever you want, without having to pay your designer every time, web design software has its advantages.

Once again, however, there are exceptions to the rule. For instance, if you plan to do more with your website than simply give your business’s hours and location, a nicer website design can often encourage people to spend their money with you. If your website needs to offer more complicated features such as a shopping cart and checkout system, you will save yourself a lot of headache and hassle by hiring a designer.

Should you pay extra for an email plan? With many web hosting companies, you will have to pay extra, or at least upgrade to a more business friendly hosting plan, if you want email addresses with your domain name. Regardless of whether you expect your business to be big or small, slow or lucrative, if you plan on doing any business online it is highly recommended to pay the extra. Having an email address with your domain name gives you a more professional image when dealing with clients online, and may inspire greater trust in new clients as well.

There are a lot of tough decisions to make when setting up your first website for your business, and these are only a few of the things you will need to think about. However, choosing between managed web hosting and shared hosting, deciding whether or not to hire a web designer, and choosing your email addresses are also some of the most important choices you must make.

Andy West is a writer on a number of topics, website creation and hosting. The website startup process should include a decision on using managed web hosting. Visit http://www.codero.com for more information.

There are as many definitions of Web 2.0 as there are people trying to define the term, and looking for a definition can only lead to confusion. O’Reilly Media is an American media company that has been publishing books on web development since the time that there were only a few hundred websites on the Internet. In 2003, during a brainstorming session between the founders of the company, Tim O’Reilly and Dale Dougherty, the term Web 2.0 was coined.

For a detailed technical “definition” of Web 2.0, a visit to Tim O’Reilly’s blog is in order, but after reading the essay, a majority of Internet users will still be scratching their heads in confusion. Fortunately, O’Reilly has taken the 5 page essay and broken it down into one long sentence.

As stated by O’Reilly, “Web 2.0 is the network as platform, spanning all connected devices; Web 2.0 applications are those that make the most of the intrinsic advantage of that platform; delivering software as a continually-updated service that gets better the more people use it, consuming and remixing data from multiple sources, including individual users, while providing their own data and services in a form that allows remixing by others, creating network effects through an “architecture of participation,” and going beyond the page metaphor of Web 1.0 to deliver rich user experiences.” (http://radar.oreilly.com/2005/10/web-20-compact-definition.html)

The evolution of computing from the early days of DOS is nothing short of amazing, and Web 2.0 is just another step to make the Internet, friendlier, more interactive and more fun. The trend from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 can be likened to a football game. In Web 1.0 we were the spectators, and with Web 2.0 we are the team in the middle of a skirmish.

So what’s so different about Web 2.0? For starters, it just looks different. Bright colors on white backgrounds are predominant. Rounded fonts and an easy to read format are the norm. Times New Roman fonts have been replaced with fonts such as Arial Rounded and Tahoma. Use of CSS (cascading style sheets) allows web developers to easily keep web pages less cumbersome and code intensive.

Web 2.0’s functionality has changed too. Interaction between the website and the website user is now possible. This has spawned websites such as MySpace, FaceBook and Twitter which have revolutionized social networking. Millions of people are interaction with each other, sharing their thoughts, ideas, information, expertise, and ranting and ravings to anyone who will listen.
Social networking goes hand-in-hand with social bookmarking which allows users to share their favorite websites with others. Yahoo’s Answers provides web users with an avenue to post questions on virtually any topic and the community answers these questions, earning points for every question provided.

Blogging has become synonymous with Web 2.0. No different from the traditional diary, bogging allows individuals to write about anything they wish; only now it’s on the Internet. Blogs can be shared or kept private.

Information exchange is a big part of Web 2.0. Article writing has become very popular, allowing webmasters to find quality content for their websites, or the general public to find information on virtually every subject imaginable.

Sites like YouTube and Flickr have pushed video and picture sharing to new levels, with lively interaction between the person who made the posting and the people viewing the posts.

This information is simplified and is only the tip of the iceberg. As more and more sites convert to the new format, new uses for the Internet will not doubt be spawned. It’s an exciting time and it will be interesting to see what Web 3.0 will bring.

Does your Website attract a steady flow of targeted traffic, build an opt-in list, supply you leads and income from sales of products and services?

If it doesn’t, then you need to examine your Website content, design and structure.

In most cases, Websites are designed and built first. Then the business owners try to figure out how to attract visitors. This approach is backwards.

Before you have a single web page built or content written you should have clearly identified your strategy for attracting visitors and converting them to leads or clients. Using the web to market your product or services requires a web marketing plan.

The web has the potential to be a powerful communication tool, but your Website needs to be designed in order for you to achieve your marketing goals. These goals also have to be measurable.

A Website built and managed without a clear marketing plan is usually a waste of time and money. Many Website are nothing more than web billboards. These sites generally do not attract clients and provide little marketing benefit.

What should you measure?

The most obvious category that can be measured is the amount of traffic that your Website is generating. The key value is the number of unique visitors that come to the Website. There are other values that are important, such as page views and average length of stay.

As you measure these values over time the goal would be to have a steady increase in all of these values.

Of course, if these visitors are not doing anything when they are on your Website they are of little value.

Do you have a call to action?

Your Website should be designed in such a way that your visitors are presented with a call to action. This call to action should be obvious to the visitor. Your call to action is another element that can be measured. How many visitors perform the call to action?

The call to action can take many forms. It may be opting in to a email newsletter list, or filling out a lead form. The ideal action is the purchase of a product or service.

When a site visitor performs the call to action, you have a conversion. The number of conversions divided by the number of Website visitors is the conversion rate.

One of the goals of the Website should be to increase the conversion rate.

Testing

Once you have your measurable elements, traffic and conversions, you can test various ways to make your Website work. You can test various techniques for increasing traffic. Options here include search engine optimization of your Website, pay per click advertising, press releases and article writing.

Then you will also want to increase your conversion rates. Split testing is used to determine how various elements within the web page affect the visitor. You can change the elements on the page such as the headline or color of text and graphics, to measure the affect on the visitor.

Website Goals

You now have the understanding that your business Website should be working for you with a marketing plan. You need a call to action. You need to measure traffic and conversions, and then test to improve the results.

With these measurements in hand, you can now set goals for your Website.

The primary thing that makes a web site usable is how well it enables someone to achieve what they want to do. To achieve this goal a web designer needs two things. First, you need to understand the basic principles of usability. Secondly, you need to understand the users of the web site and design the site with them in mind.

The International Organization for Standards (ISO) has a definition for usability:

…the effectiveness, efficiency and satisfaction with which a specified set of users can achieve a specified set of tasks in a particular environment (ISO Standard 9241).

However, everyone has their own definition of usability, “If I cannot use it, it is not user friendly.”

Usability expert, Jakob Nielson lists ten general principles for user interface design.

1. Visibility of system status – Always keep the user informed about what is going on.

2. Match between system and the real world – The system should speak the users’ language.

3. User control and freedom – Support undo and redo.

4. Consistency and standards – Users should not have to wonder if different words or actions mean the same thing.

5. Error prevention – Eliminate error prone conditions

6. Recognition rather than recall – There should be no need to remember information.

7. Flexibility and efficiency of use – Allow users to tailor frequent actions.

8. Aesthetic and minimalist design – Extra information competes with relevant units of information.

9. Easy error recovery – Error messages should be in plain language.

10. Help and documentation – Easy to search.

You may be eager to jump right into the designing of your web site. You are excited about your ideas. While your ideas may be very good, you need to stop and take time to get feedback from others.

Before you can consider design solutions you need to have a solid understanding of the problems you are trying to solve, the business requirements, and the user needs. If you do not have this information you should not be considering design solutions.

Depending upon the purpose of the web site these initial steps can be determined very quickly or they may require significant input from business associates and end users. Extensive task analysis and scenarios may be needed. Personas can be developed to help facilitate this process.

It may be helpful to involve end users in the research phase of the design, depending upon the purpose of the web site. It is much better to have their involvement at the early stages as it will save you heartache later.

As the web site is designed, it is important to have usability reviews. As a designer, you must not think of these reviews as critiques of your design. The objective of the usability review is to make the web site design even better. Your budge may determine the extent of the usability review. But even with a minimal budget, a review by a few end users will be very helpful.

After your web site is online and live you still need to keep working on usability. Small improvements in the web site usability can result in significant increases in your desired results from the web site. If your desired results are measurable, you need to test if changes on the web site can improve performance.

Ryan also runs a site called Monthly Content where internet marketers are provided with all the PLR content, MRR content, Articles and Internet Marketing Training that they need to be successful.

Before one knows how to compare file, he should be able to know what exactly this is. So what is Unicode? This is a set of special characters that is encoded in the system of your computers. They have been created primarily for the purpose of the languages that make use of special characters. These include the Korean, Chinese and Japanese. If you are using the windows system, you will notice that Unicode is only supported by NT, 2000, XP and the later versions. 98 and ME editions are not supported.

It is very helpful. This is because when you have problems or any difficulty with the file names that are made up of national characters, you should know about Unicode because this is what can really assist you. In Windows 2000, this is the system that is really based on Unicode. This means that every two bytes will be used for one character. It is a standard that allows computers to manipulate and represent texts that are expressed using almost every writing system in the world.

Most of the time, It is being compared with the ASCII code. It is important that one is aware what exactly these two are so that he can make the right descriptions when he will have to compare Unicode file. ASCII stands for American Standard Code for Information Interchange. This code is being used in order for a person to be able to store or display texts. In addition, this is also utilized for simple formatting as well as other characters. ASCII often comes in values like decimal, hexadecimal, glyph and binary.

Meanwhile, It is believed to have been taken over from the ASCII code. In order to compare Unicode file, you should know that all the characters in the ASCII code exists in Unicode. This is still in development even during this time. You can also download other files that will allow you to extend the usefulness as well as your knowledge about Unicode. These include programs that will help you see how Unicode is displayed on your system at the current time. When you open the files that are written in Unicode, you will find that these require a lot of power from your processor.

Now, there are also programs and pieces of software that are available today that we can use in order to completely and easily compare Unicode files. This is achieved by means of downloading them. What most of them do is that they will compare and contrast the documents that are in local languages. You do not have to worry because when you make use of such tools, they do not lead your document to losing the quality of it.

One will be able to make comparisons between different languages such as Japanese and Chinese and their writing systems. There are also special programs that contain features that are ideal for European users since symbols that contain umlauts are being kept just like in the original document that you are trying to compare or even review.
