<p>An altered state of consciousness is simply any waking state in which the brain operates in a significantly different state than the normal beta wave state humans function in. <p>You can practice some hypnosis techniques on yourself in the form of self-hypnosis, however if your goal is to perform subliminal hypnosis to improve your objection handling, then you will need someone to practice on.</p>
<p>Naturally if the person knows you are practicing for sales it will be difficult to practice subliminal hypnosis or your objection handling. You can simply invite a friend over for some other reason and while they are there begin by experimenting with some of the skills you have learned. </p>
<p>After you&#8217;ve practiced a number of the mind control techniques that you have learned, you can ask your friend if they remember what you have said. If they don&#8217;t remember any of the suggestions you planted then you&#8217;ve succeeded. If they laugh at your embedded commands they are laughing them in, not laughing at you.</p>

<p>Sometimes I just like to mess around with people. Now I know what you&#8217;re thinking, but I only play around with people in a nice way! </p>
<p>If you really want to sell more and hone your skills in handling sales objections, first try your techniques out in public. Today I was over at Roosevelt Field Mall in Long Island. I like to walk around the mall where I can people watch and practice hypnotic mind control. Whether it&#8217;s practicing rapport, or language patterns &#8211; the mall is a great place due to the number of potential subjects.</p>
<p>There&#8217;s a kiosk in the middle of the walkway where they sell Dead Sea salts and other beauty products. The kiosk is run by women who actively try to get you to come over and sell you their wares, and they&#8217;re always keen to handle sales objections and sell more if possible. </p>
<p>Today I decided to play with one of them. Now to be fair, this is how they make their living so I was upfront and said &#8216;I&#8217;m not going to buy anything.&#8217; She was undeterred. </p>
<p>These women are completely scripted so it&#8217;s easy to break their state and slip in commands. This is key if you want to sell more yourself. </p>
<p>Heather started off on her pitch. I interrupted her. &#8216;You don&#8217;t want to leave people alone when I walk by do you? Because if you were to leave a person alone you wouldn&#8217;t make money would you?&#8217; I used self pointing when I said &#8216;people&#8217; so she would leave me alone the next time I walked by. She would find it hard to sell more to me! </p>
<p>Her eyes glazed over and she went into a quick trance. Since she was completely scripted, when I broke her script her mind went blank as she tried to recover, so I was able to slip in commands. </p>
<p>Trying out these tips on sales people is a great opportunity to practice your skills, assisting you to sell more and overcome sales objections. Let&#8217;s see how Heather handled it! </p>
<p>I also flirted with her a little. I admit &#8211; I&#8217;m a flirt at times. Somehow we got to talking about being naked and I mentioned that I have a very white butt! So I asked her if she could imagine my white butt and again she went into a trance as she began to imagine! </p>
<p>My butt must have that effect on people. Luckily my sales objections weren&#8217;t too objectionable for Heather! </p>
<p>We all want to deal with sales objections successfully and sell more products. Jokes aside the mall is a great place to practice your mind control techniques &#8211; to teach you practically how to sell more and handle sales objections. </p>
<p>The sales people are obligated to talk to you. This allows you to be totally relaxed because it&#8217;s practice and you can gain experience. Use your confidence to practice handling sales objections and realize your dreams to sell more right away. </p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It is unlikely any two experienced hypnotists have the same formula for inducing hypnosis and for issuing commands to a subject. Some hypnosis is induced by imagery or sounds, others perform hypnosis on people in public without their subject even knowing it. </p>
<p>Read on to find out how to overcome objections from prospects during your next sales attempt. </p>
<p>You can be hypnotized without showing any of the general characteristics associated with hypnosis. Hypnosis is generally described as a state of increased concentration or focus at the expense of other areas. </p>
<p>In other words, your mind tunes out the rest of your surroundings to focus entirely on one subject &#8211; in the case of a prospect with objections &#8211; we want to eliminate those objections. </p>
<p>People under hypnosis are associated with a greater suggestibility. A person who is hypnotized retains their moral code and won&#8217;t do anything which conflicts with that. </p>
<p>However, a hypnotized person will often ignore worries or anxieties (often objections) which may prevent them from taking an action they would otherwise avoid. This is ideal for handling objections from prospects regarding a sale.<br />
Prospects are also open to suggestions or ideas from the sales person using hypnotic methods which they may later believe to have originated with themselves. </p>
<p>The advertising industry has long attempted to dabble in mass hypnosis through product placement and advertising to plant the desire for products in the mind of the consumer without outwardly selling the product to the consumer. Similarly the sales person can overcome objections given by prospects by making suggestions without the prospect realizing it. </p>
<p>One method to induce hypnosis and eliminate objections in a willing prospect is to hold two fingers in a V shape in front of their eyes and instruct the participant to follow your fingers without moving their head. The hypnotist will then move his hand up and down while instructing the prospect to breathe in and out slowly. </p>
<p>The hypnotist should inform the participant that their eyes are getting tired and that they will close them when the hypnotist passes his hand in front of their face. Once this is completed the prospect is now open to suggestions and may even be informed to open their eyes. </p>
<p>When you are finished with the suggestions you can inform them whether they will remember what they did under hypnosis or not, and give them a signal, such as the snap of your fingers, that will return them to full consciousness. </p>
<p>Of course a sales person won&#8217;t necessarily be able to hypnotize someone in this way to overcome objections in their prospects. To use subtle means to overcome objections with prospects please read my articles on covert hypnosis. </p>
