A Lucrative Internet Business In Domain Sales

September 11, 2010 · Filed Under Affiliate Programs · Comment

Every website you go to has a domain name. For those who may not be internet savvy, that is what you type into your browser to get to a page – like www.example.com.

Most people don’t think very much about domain names. They are just the words and characters you type in to get to the website you want to go to. For website owners, however, this name is the most important part of the website. You want the name to reflect your content, tell your business name, be easy to find and easy to remember. Website owners put a lot of thought into their domain names.

Every domain name in the world is available out there somewhere, either already created or waiting for someone to make it up. Just because you want a particular domain name doesn’t mean you can have it. Some names are already taken and hosting a website someone else has created. And some names have been purchased already and are waiting to be sold to someone who wants them.

With the rise in the internet came the rise in internet business – and the rise in buying domain names you think someone might want and then selling them. Domain sales have quickly become a fast growing business because businesses in a huge number of industries are looking to purchase the perfect domain name. Some of these businesses include:
- Finance and Banking
- Telecommunications
- Information Technology
- New Media
- Wholesale and Resale Business Services
- Consumer Electronics
- Healthcare
- Real Estate
- Education

Internet savvy people realized early on that they could make money on the internet by buying up domain names in mass and selling them to the people who want them. Entire businesses were established that make all of their money based on this theory. They buy up names they think a company or person might want, incorporating popular brands and sayings, and then sell them to the highest bidder.

Private domain name sales can allow you to successfully buy and sell domain names. Membership groups teach you how to buy and sell domain names and also include resources on how to succeed without a monthly membership fee. They include such advantages as a weekend crash course in how to sell your domain names and advice from experts. This sort of club can be a great investment if you are looking for a way to make money online.

You can also find tutorials online about how to do domain name sales that include a variety of topics, including how to find buyers for domain names, how to make domain names a valuable asset, how to submit domain names directly to buyers, how to increase domain name sales and how to make money from your domain names.

Some resources will also teach you how to exchange your domain names for special items like air tickets, holiday trips, electronic items and more, all while guiding you through the process of selling domain names and make you more profitable.
There are a lot of websites out there that offer the keys to domain name sales, or offer to teach you how to make a profit selling domain names.

GoDaddy.com, for instance, offers an individual the ability to sell a domain name on it’s website by posting the domain name for sale and offering it to the highest bidder. It doesn’t give you tips and tricks on how to maximize your domain name sales or how to purchase the best domain names to sell. They also charge a fee on your domain name sales without really doing anything else for you except offering a listing – the same thing that parking a domain that someone wants will do.
EHow.com, on the other hand, offers tips for buying and selling domain names. It offers a good basis for getting started in the business, but it is just an information site, and it doesn’t offer help from experts in the domain name selling field.

Domain selling clubs give you the advantages of both of the above sites plus a large variety of resources all in the same place. Usually they charge a one-time access fee or have a monthly reoccurring subscription fee to gain access to this information.

There are effective strategies that make you a powerful force in domain sells. Everyday domain sales fetch thousands of dollars, and domain names are sold on a continuing basis. The monetary potential of selling domain names is endless. It’s a very flexible job – you can be a stay at home mom, a student, retired or work full time but still be making money from domain name sales. If you’re looking for a way to make money online, this is a good place to start.

Making Money Online Through Domain Sales

September 11, 2010 · Filed Under Affiliate Programs · Comment

Online business has become the most popular way of selling goods and services in todays world. The internet is used also for selling domain names and selling domain names seems to be the latest growing phenomenon. Industries try to explore the most unique domain names fit for them and purchase them on the internet.

Some of the very popular industries that invest in buying domain names are: Finance and Banking, Telecommunications, Information Technology, New Media, Healthcare, Real Estate, Education, Consumer Electronics, and Retail.

Domain selling groups or organizations create a structure for buying and selling domain names plus resources on how to succeed in the business. They include such advantages as a weekend crash course in how to sell your domain names and advice from experts. This sort of club can be a great investment if you are looking for a way to make money online.

There are a lot of resources out there, and it is hard to know whether or not it’s worth it to invest in an actual club instead of going to one of the many other places that offer domain name sales tips.

EHow.com, for instance, offers tips for buying and selling domain names. It offers a good basis for getting started in the business, but it is just an information site, and it doesn’t offer help from experts in the domain name selling field. While the tips are a good start, it doesn’t give you the comprehensive program and resources that seller clubs like Domain Sellers give you.

GoDaddy.com, on the other hand, offers an individual the ability to sell a domain name on it’s website by posting the domain name for sale and offering it to the highest bidder. It doesn’t give you tips and tricks on how to maximize your domain name sales or how to purchase the best domain names to sell. They also charge a fee on your domain name sales without really doing anything else for you except offering a listing – the same thing that parking a domain that someone wants will do.

The Domain Sellers Club puts the information from EHow together with the functionality of GoDaddy.com without the fees. They also offer resources on how to find buyers for domain names, how to make domain names a valuable asset for potential buyers to want to acquire, how to submit domain names directly to real buyers, how to increase domain sales, tips and tricks to make money from your domain names and an interview panel with top professionals in the field. You get access to all of their online tutorials for a basic membership fee of $30, with no additional subscription fees or reoccurring costs.

There are effective strategies that make you a powerful force in domain sells. Everyday domain sales fetch thousands of dollars, and domain names are sold on a continuing basis. The monetary potential of selling domain names is endless. It’s a very flexible job – you can be a stay at home mom, a student, retired or work full time but still be making money from domain name sales, either personally with a site like GoDaddy or EHow or with a club like the Domain Sellers club. If you’re looking for a way to make money online, this is a good place to start.

Building Strength as a Power Athlete

September 11, 2010 · Filed Under Equipment · Comment

Power athletes who have been training for years realize the importance of the posterior chain in order to produce power for any movement. Whether it is running, jumping, squatting, or dead lifting, the lower back, glutes and calves are the areas that need to be targeted for powerful movement. Only a glute ham raise exercise can strengthen these muscle groups effectively.

There are several variations to doing this type of intense exercise. By adding variations, you can target the muscles in different ways and it will lead to effective results. Here are a few ways of performing this exercise:

Glute ham raise: To do a glute ham raise, all you need to do is find a secure bar (or a GHR machine), secure your feet with your toes on the ground, lower yourself down by extending your knee from a 90-degree to a 180-degree angle and lift back up. To lift yourself back up, use your hamstrings and glutes, try lifting yourself back to a position where your thighs are at a 90-degree angle to your calves (in other words, to a kneeling position).

Assisted glute ham raise: If you do not have the strength to perform GHR with your own body weight, here is an assisted variation. Set the safety bars down near the bottom and as you come down support yourself by grabbing the bars and slightly pushing yourself back up.

Glute hamstring raise: To do glute hamstring raise on this specialized machine, place ankles between ankle roller pads with feet on vertical platform and position knees on pad with lower thighs against large padded hump. If the barbell can be safely placed on horizontal handles, grasp barbell in upright position and place behind shoulders. If barbell is placed on floor, lower torso by extending knees and flexing hips then position barbell on back of shoulders. Grasp bar to sides.

Hamstring curl: You lay on your stomach, and while doing the exercise, keep your hips flush against the bench and curl the weight up to a 90 degree angle from the machine. Stop at your own comfort zone and lower the weight back. Try doing it on this machine, you will feel the difference.

Assisted hamstring curl: Assisted hamstring curl exercises can be done with a partner since not all people are strong enough to get all the way into a push up position without losing the core contraction. The glute ham raise fitness equipment will help you achieve the best results while performing any of the exercises mentioned above. Not only will you target your muscle groups more effectively, you will also strengthen and tighten your muscles as you go along.

In addition to the traditional glute ham raise exercises, you may want to consider investing in a home glute ham raise machine to do the following:
Assisted glute ham raise push-ups
Abdominal crunches or sit-ups
Oblique crunches or sit-ups
Abdominal torso twists
Lower back raises
Dumbbell rear delt raises

As with any workout routine, you should talk to your doctor before you begin and work up to higher difficulty slowly. Make sure to take care of yourself, build muscle mass slowly and stop if it hurts. And don’t forget to stretch and drink plenty of water!

Worried About Your Dog’s Sleeping Patterns?

September 9, 2010 · Filed Under Pets and Animals · Comment

Dog lovers spend a lot of time, money and attention on their dogs. But for every loving owner there is a dog that still won’t sleep through the night, barks and begs to be let out.

Dogs that don’t sleep through the night can be a huge hassle for dog owners. No matter how much you love your pet, a whiny, restless nighttime dog can be draining. It interrupts your sleep patterns and also makes for an unhappy dog.

Just like with people, sometimes a dog’s bed can be the problem. Finding a bed that your dog loves and is comfortable in can make a very big difference in his or her sleeping patterns.

Every dog will sleep at the foot of your bed if you’ll let him – or snuggled up on your pillow, breathing doggie breath in your face. Sometimes this situation just won’t work, however.

Dog beds come in many shapes and sizes. Often you can get adequate dog beds from a local retailer like Pet Smart. They have a variety of shapes and sizes of stuffing filled beds for your pets. These beds break down over time, get hard and lumpy, and often end up in a fluffy disaster when your dog decides to gut it like his newest stuffed animal while you are out for the day.

After the second time you come home to a livingroom filled with fluff, you can try one of the many pet beds out there that are unstuffed, made with blankets or thick fabrics. These mats are comfortable for your dog and give them a place to claim as their own, but are often hard to wash and are not much more padded than the carpet and much less padded than the couch you would rather your dog not sleep on.

If you have an elderly dog, the problems with finding a good bed can intensify. Just like elderly people, elderly dogs struggle with health issues and painful joints. Finding a bed that can be comfortable for an elderly dog can be very hard.

One option, particularly for elderly dogs, is an orthopedic sleep system for dogs. It is a bed that is made especially for our pets to ensure that they sleep comfortably and safely. It is not just a comfortable bed; it also serves the purpose of relieving pain in older dogs. This special bed is designed in a way for older dogs for alleviating pain as they sleep on it. With layers of memory and supporting foam, it is designed to provide support to the dogs body and distribute the weight the weigh an orthopedic sleep system delivers a human’s weight.

Ordinary dog beds have the tendency to collapse, loose shape or curl up over a period of time when a dog lies on it. Since this orthopedic dog bed is made out of memory foam, it firmly holds it shape. The firm mattress plays an important role in relieving pressure points, pain of arthritis, hip dysplasia and joint and muscle stiffness.

This dog bed serves the dual role of providing comfort as well as relieving joint pain. If you have a dog who find moving very challenging or an older dog that is unable to sleep well due to some discomfort, then an orthopedic sleep bed is the right for the dog. This bed will help the dog relax and rest when he lies on it.

For most pet owners, your dog is a member of my family and his or her comfort is top priority. You may find that an orthopedic sleep system can make a significant difference in his quality of life over a traditional dog bed.

Margaret James belongs to an active elderly dog and a less active husband and endorses the orthopedic DogPedic Sleep System. Learn more about this system at: http://2njoy.com/dogpedic.htm
