Red Hot Chili Peppers Tickets : The Band Was Nominated For Two Mtv Europe Music Awards Awards
The band, with Josh Klinghoffer on guitar, made their live comeback on January 29, 2010, paying tribute to Neil Young with a cover of A Man Needs a Maid at MusiCares. After months of speculation, in February 2010 Klinghoffer was officially confirmed by Chad Smith as Frusciante’s full-time replacement.
The band officially began recording their tenth studio album with producer Rick Rubin in September 2010. According to Rubin, the band recorded enough material to release a second double album, following Stadium Arcadium but ultimately decided not to. Rubin notes, it was painful not to share all of the material that we had, but we felt it would be too much. We really wanted it to be twelve songs but it ended up being fourteen just because nobody could agree on which twelve. The recording process lasted until March 2011.
Many of the songs were written between October 2009 and August 2010 and according to Flea around 60-70 songs were written in the ten months prior to entering the studio to record the album. Rubin spoke about Klinghoffer and the new music by saying Josh is fantastic. He played with John Frusciante for many, many years and he actually toured with the Chili Peppers before, so he is sort of part of the extended family.
He’s stylistically very close to John but has a completely different trip. It sounds like the Red Hot Chili Peppers that you have never heard before According to Kiedis, the writing and process this time around was much different. In the past many of their songs came through jams however this time around many were thought out and planned thanks to Flea new knowledge of music theory.
In July 2011 the band kicked off a trio of invitation only warm-up dates in California. These were the first shows the band played since August 2007 and their first official shows with Josh as their guitarist.I’m with You, the band’s tenth studio album was released in the United States in August 2011. The album topped the charts in 18 different countries although failed to provide the band with their second straight number one debut in the U.S..
The album was met with mostly positive reviews from the critics however some felt the new album lacked the focus and creativity of the previous records, especially those that featured John Frusciante. The album’s first single, The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie was released a month earlier and went on to become the band’s 12th number one hit single, topping their own record.
Kreayshawn was tapped to direct the music video for the single however due to unknown reasons, the video shot by Kreayshawn went unreleased and a second video directed by Marc Klasfeld was released in it’s place. The band kicked off a month long promotional tour in August 2011 starting in Asia. On August 30, 2011, the band appeared on movie screens throughout the world via-satellite from Cologne, Germany performing the entire new album in sequence minus Even You Brutus along with Give It Away and Me and My Friends.
The band officially kicked off the I’m with You tour on September 11, 2011. The tour is expected to last into 2013 and be one of the band’s biggest to date. All shows from the upcoming world tour will be made available to purchase as downloads through LiveChiliPeppers. The band was nominated for two MTV Europe Music Awards awards for Best Rock Band and Best Live Artist and nominated for Best Group at the 2012 People’s Choice AwardsI’m with You was also nominated for a 2012 Grammy Award for Best Rock Album.
Monarchy of Roses was announced as the album’s second single on September 17, 2011 during a interview with Anthony and Chad on BBC Radio 2. Host, Justin Lee Collins broke the news of the single. The single was released October 7, 2011 while the music video, directed by Marc Klasfeld was released November 14, 2011.
The single became a minor hit however it has failed to reach the top of the charts like the album’s previous single. It was announced in December 2011 that the third single from the album would be “Look Around” and would be released in early 2012 while in Brazil, due to the song already getting heavy radio airplay, fans voted for Did I Let You Know to be the next single and it will be exclusively released only in that country. This was the first time ever the fans were allowed to select a single.
After being named a finalist in September 2011 and failing to make the final cut the previous two years, on December 7, 2011 the Red Hot Chili Peppers were announced as part of the Class of 2012 inductees to the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. The awards ceremony will be held in April 2012. Kiedis was asked if John Frusciante would attend the induction ceremony and said he didn’t know and assumed he wouldn’t attend.
He said he hasn’t talked to Frusciante in a while so he doesn’t know his feelings about the induction however he’s more than welcome to attend and will be embraced if he does. Kiedis said he assumes both Cliff Martinez and Jack Irons will attend. Two of the other artists being inducted, Guns N’ Roses and Beastie Boys opened for the Chili Peppers 25 years earlier on the band’s Freaky Styley tour.
The band will be the main performer at a invitation only New Year’s eve party on December 31, 2011 which is being held in St. Barts by Russian billionaire Roman Abramovich. 300 guests have been invited to the party being held at Abramovich’s $90 million estate.

Arctic Monkeys Tickets : The Band Began To Record Demos At 2fly Studios In Sheffield
Arctic Monkeys are an English indie rock band. Formed in 2002 in High Green, a suburb of Sheffield, the band currently consists of Alex Turner (lead vocals, Lead/rhythm guitar), Jamie Cook (rhythm/lead guitar), Nick O’Malley (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Matt Helders (drums, percussion, backing vocals).
Former members include Andy Nicholson (bass guitar, backing vocals) and Glyn Jones (lead vocals, rhythm guitar). They began rehearsing at Yellow Arch Studios in Neepsend, and played their first gig on 13 June 2003 at The Grapes in Sheffield city-centre. After a few performances in 2003 the band began to record demos at 2fly studios in Sheffield.
17 songs were demoed in all and the collection, now known as ‘Under the Boardwalk’, were burned on to CDs to give away at gigs, which were promptly file-shared amongst fans. The name ‘Beneath the Boardwalk” originated when the first batch of demos were sent around. The first sender, wanting to classify the demos, named them after where he received them, the Boardwalk. Slowly as more demos were spread, they were all classified under this name.
This has led to many people falsely believing that ‘Beneath the Boardwalk” was an early album, or that the early demos were all released under this heading. The group did not mind the distribution, saying “we never made those demos to make money or anything. We were giving them away free anyway that was a better way for people to hear them.”, admitting that they did not even know how to get their songs onto the Internet.
When asked about the popularity of the band’s MySpace site in an interview with Prefix Magazine, the band said that they were unaware what it was, and that the site had originally been created by their fans. They began to grow in popularity across the north of England, receiving attention from BBC Radio and the British tabloid press. A local amateur photographer, Mark Bull, filmed the band’s performances and made the music video to “Fake Tales of San Francisco”, releasing it on his website, alongside the contents of Beneath the Boardwalk a collection of the band’s songs which he named after a local music venue.
In May 2005, Arctic Monkeys released their first single, Five Minutes with Arctic Monkeys on their own ‘Bang Bang’ label, featuring the songs “Fake Tales of San Francisco” and “From the Ritz to the Rubble”. This release was limited to 500 CDs and 1000 7″ records, but was also available to download from the iTunes Music Store. Soon after, the band played at the Carling Stage of the Reading and Leeds Festivals, reserved for less known or unsigned bands.
Their appearance was hyped by much of the music press and the band was watched by an unusually large crowd.Eventually, they signed to Domino in June 2005. The band said they were attracted to the “DIY ethic” of Domino owner Laurence Bell, who ran the label from his flat and only signed bands that he liked personally. The UK’s Daily Star reported that this was followed in October by a 1 million publishing deal with EMI and a 725,000 contract with Epic Records for the United States.
Arctic Monkeys denied this on their website, dubbing the newspaper “The Daily Stir”. However, Domino have licensed the Australian and New Zealand publishing rights to EMI and the Japanese rights to independent label Hostess. Their first single with Domino, “I Bet You Look Good on the Dancefloor”, was released on 17 October 2005 and went straight to #1 on the UK Singles Chart, beating Sugababes and Robbie Williams.
Two weeks previous to this, they made their first appearance on the cover of NME. Their second single, “When the Sun Goes Down” (previously titled “Scummy”), released on 16 January 2006, also went straight to #1 on the UK Singles Chart, selling 38,922 copies and taking over that position from Shayne Ward. The band’s success with little marketing or advertising led some to suggest that it could signal a change in how new bands achieve recognition.

Tim McGraw Tickets : McGraw Headlined The Most Successful Country Tour Of The Year
McGraw came to the attention of Curb Records in 1990. After cutting a demo single, McGraw gave a copy to his father, Tug McGraw. A man who was friends with Curb Records executives heard the demo while driving with Tug McGraw one day and recommended that Curb contact the young singer.
Several weeks later, he was able to play his tape for Curb executives, after which they signed him to a recording contract. Two years later, in 1992, he had his first minor hit with “Welcome to the Club” off his self-titled debut album. Although the album failed to make much of a dent on the charts, McGraw did have two other minor hits from it in 1993: “Memory Lane” and “Two Steppin Mind”.
His second album, Not a Moment Too Soon, was much more successful, becoming the best-selling country album in 1994. The first single, “Indian Outlaw”, caused considerable controversy, as critics argued that it presented Native Americans in a patronizing way. Some radio stations refused to play it,[9] but the controversy helped spur sales, and the song became McGraw’s first top-ten country single (getting as high as No. 8), and reaching No. 15 on the pop chart.
The second single from the album, “Don’t Take the Girl”, became McGraw’s first No. 1 country hit, and “helped cement his image as a ruggedly good-looking guy with a sensitive side”.The following year, the album’s title track became a No. 1 country single, while “Down on the Farm” reached No. 2, and “Refried Dreams” reached the top 5. The album sold over 6 million copies, topping the Billboard 200 as well as the country album charts.
On the strength of this success, McGraw won Academy of Country Music awards for Album of the Year and Top New Male Vocalist in 1994.All I Want, released in 1995, continued his run of success, debuting at No. 1 on the country charts. The album sold over 2 million copies and reached the top 5 on the Billboard 200. “I Like It, I Love It” reached No. 1 on the country charts as the lead-off single, while “She Never Lets It Go to Her Heart” also went to No. 1 in 1996. “Can’t Be Really Gone”, “All I Want Is a Life”, and “Maybe We Should Just Sleep on It” were all top 5 hits.
In 1996, McGraw headlined the most successful country tour of the year, The Spontaneous Combustion Tour, with Faith Hill as his supporting act. Faith Hill broke off her engagement to her former producer Scott Hendricks so that she and Tim could start dating each other; they then married on October 6, 1996. The couple have since had three daughters: Gracie Katherine (born May 1997), Maggie Elizabeth (born August 1998), and Audrey Caroline (born December 2001).
A Place in the Sun in 1999 continued McGraw’s streak, debuting atop both the US pop and country album charts and selling 3 million albums. It featured another four chart-topping singles on the country charts including “Please Remember Me”, “Something Like That”, “My Best Friend”, and “My Next Thirty Years”. “Some Things Never Change” reached No. 7 on the country chart. He also contributed a song for the Grammy-winning tribute album to Bob Wills: Ride With Bob.
His song, a cover of “Milk Cow Blues”, was recorded as a duet with Asleep at the Wheel, whom he had met while performing together at the George Strait Country Music Festival.McGraw recorded two more duets with his wife in the late 1990s, both of which appeared on her albums. “Just to Hear You Say That You Love Me”, off of her multi-platinum 1998 album Faith, reached the top five of the US country charts, while her follow-up and 1999 album Breathe featured “Let’s Make Love”, which would win a Grammy Award in 2000 for Best Country Vocal Collaboration.
