2. Develop your copy voice. Have a consistent style that is uniquely yours. Just like when you talk, your copy has its own rhythm. Figure out yours and go with the flow.
3. Write for scanners. Most people scan copy especially long copy. Help out the majority of people by using bold words, numbered lists, bullet points, headlines and sub-headlines to cover your main points.
4. Write to them. Make it about them not you. Use the word “you” to talk to your reader, avoid the word “me” as much as possible.
5. Give benefits, benefits and more benefits. Write about the benefits, what’s in it for the reader?
6. Write a P.S. Almost half of the readers, scanners included will read a P.S. as well as a P.S.S. Never underestimate the power of the P.S. it is one of the great places to put a call to action.
7. Mix up sentence lengths. Great copy is often mixed up with long and short sentences. It gives the copy a much more natural approach.
8. Keep your paragraphs short. While sentences can be long it is best to keep your paragraphs short. Generally around 6 lines is okay, though for email keep it no more than 5 lines.
9. Powerful words go first. If possible where it makes sense, use the most powerful points and words at the beginning of sentences, headlines and so on.
10. Every one likes free! Free is still the top influential word in the English language. If you are giving something away for free, really wow them with incredible value that will make them wonder why you gave it away.
11. Repeat your call to action. This is really important in long copy. Though even in short copy some repetition of your call to action is important. Just make sure to mix up how you say it.
12. Powerful Testimonials. If your copy has room for testimonials make sure to include them. Written testimonials are great, voice recorded ones even better and video testimonials are the most powerful yet. Just make sure to include the written version under audio or video in case the viewer is unable to access the media version.
13. Guarantees build credibility. People always feel more at ease when they know there is some sort of guarantee. It is one way to build instant trust.
14. Make contact easy. Make it easy for the reader to contact you. Whether by phone, email, etc. Make it blatantly clear how to contact you.
15. Read it out loud. Read it out loud to yourself and some people you respect. Does it sound natural? How do you feel, how do they feel? Tweak if necessary and read out loud another two times.
P.S. Take action, learn from your mistakes and keep improving your copy as you go. Always keep your unique copy style intact along the way. As you write keep this handy list of copywriting tips by your side to create copy that sells every time.

How to Build an Online Business with Ezine Marketing
There are many effective way to build an online business. One was is through ezine marketing. Ezines have been around awhile and often online marketers do not realize how powerful this advertising method can be. Not only can running your own ezine on your niche be incredibly lucrative but so can advertising with solo ads on ezines for your niche.
Some of the benefits of being an Ezine Marketer are similar to a conventional newsletter publisher. However, unlike conventional methods it is a lot cheaper to run and easier for it to become viral. With the web you have the ability to gain subscribers 24/7.
Whether you decide to create your own ezine or not, you will still want to find ezines in your niche that have good traffic and meet your budget.
Here are two forms of effective ezine marketing:
1. Ezine classified ads. This is usually an inexpensive way to get results. The best ones will allow you to post your URL and other contact info. Make your classified ad short and snappy to grab the reader’s attention and to get them to take action. This is a great method to use when building your list especially if you are giving something away for free.
2. Ezine solo ads. These are usually more expensive than a classified ad; however they are still affordable and well worth the extra cost. Research the ezines you are thinking about running solo ads. You can even ask for statistics. If you choose one with good traffic that is clearly within your target market niche, then all you have to do is write a compelling ad and capture page.
Try both methods and test out different ads. Keep track of your results and get rid of ineffective ads and ezines. For both types of ads you will want to create compelling copy. Create attention grabbing headlines and keep your copy short in general as well as your paragraphs. Think of your ezine ads as a teaser enticing the reader to find out more.
To entice the reader you will have to create a sense of urgency with a call to action. Testimonials can help as well, but only use the best and a few to keep your ad short.
Bullet point and list type ads are easy to read and easy for you to share the benefits of your offer.
Go now and look for ezines in your niche and get to researching which ones are best for you. Then start writing your ads if you do not have them already and get to utilizing this affordable and effective marketing method to boost your online business today.

Teleseminar Tips | 9 Steps to Profitable Teleseminar Success
Hosting a teleseminar is another affordable way to recession proof your business and expand your reach of influence. Just like podcast you can easily monetize, grow your list and repurpose your efforts.
Teleseminars are super simple to do and run. Callers call into a bridge line and you can record the call to repurpose. This method of marketing is one of the easiest to get started with, if you are looking to break into information marketing.
It is easy to speak for most than to write, which makes it easier for you to get your point across. Also speaking leaves little left to interpret on what type of emotion there is versus an ebook where your intention could be misunderstood.
Many of us do a lot of speaking in our jobs, businesses and lives in general. Speaking for most is pretty natural. If you have stage fright, no worries your audience cannot see you!
Here are 9 steps to profitable teleseminar success:
1. Pick a topic. Consider your niche and target audience. What questions and problems can you solve for them? What benefits do your products/services offer? Keeping this in mind will help you pick your topic.
2. Outline your topic. You could write it out word for word but honestly do not waste your time. If you try to read something word for word you will sound unnatural and be more prone to stumbling over your words. Create an outline in bullet point form of the main things you want to cover. This will allow you to be more natural in your speaking.
3. Host and record. There are many free teleseminar services like TalkShoe.com, FreeConferencePro.com, HandsFreeTeleseminars.com, or InstantConference.com. Each service has a way for you to record, make sure to do a test run on the service you choose. There are also affordable solutions for larger audiences over 200. Invite your list and market your event.
4. Send out the recording. After you are done recording and made any edits you wanted, then get the audio out to all of those that attended.
5. Get it transcribed. You can either transcribe it yourself, purchase software that will do it for you or outsource it to a professional transcriber. By converting the audio to a PDF you can now give it to the attendees and/or sell it as a package with the audio or give the report away to build your list.
6. Create an opt-in page. The opt-in page will highlight the benefits of getting your info product. You will either sell the transcript or give it away to build a list. Then you can use the audio as an upsell or just package it all together. You can also have everything in digital format or create a physical product or give away the digital and use the physical version as an upsell. Then market your capture page and notify your list.
7. Repurpose your teleseminar. Always think about how you can repurpose your efforts. This will not only give you more web presence, build your list faster… It will also save you time and make you more money. Redistribute the audio as a podcast and submit to podcast directories. Take the transcript and break it up into an autoresponder series. Create articles, blog posts, press releases and e-courses from the content. Combine the audio and text to make a video or take the audio and create a slideshow presentation for the video instead of using the text and distribute on the major video networks. Then take all of the above and use social bookmarking and social marketing to get more exposure.
8. Just repeat. As you go through the process you will become more efficient at it and come up with even more ways to monetize on your efforts. Create a set schedule of dates and times you will do calls. Send out surveys to your attendees to know what they want to know more about and enjoyed as well as how you can improve. Also pay attention to questions being asked often as these are areas you can target.
9. Repurpose more. You can easily take several calls and make them into an ebook, a high-end product, coaching program, home study course, or use as the outline for a live event.
The important thing is to get out there and get going. Do your best to get through all the steps; however you may not your first few times and that is okay. You will eventually master all 9 steps with ease. You will grow your business by leaps and bounds using teleseminars in your marketing arsenal.
