The Magic Powers of Information Marketing for Lead Generation!
While information marketing hasn’t been taught for all that long, it doesn’t mean that it’s presence hasn’t been strong with top marketers who wish to use it as a weapon against their competitors. It’s the art of strategically sharing information with no expectation of anything in return.
What will this process do for you? What it allows you to do is “GIVE” immense value for free, to a protect who could really need what you offer (who will thank you for it in many ways you’ve never thought of before).
Please, don’t go and plagiarize articles exactly, but rather take the idea, put your own flavor, ideas, personality and experience to it, that will then be 100% unique, and I guarantee you that you’ll never, ever, be without ideas for information marketing this way.
If you can share about yourself with your prospective clients and at the same time display your credibility and trustworthiness (through social proof e.g. testimonials) then you’ll created a comfort zone for them during this “information giving” process…
Lets know look more deeply into the concept of information marketing and how you can use it in your local area to help a great amount of prospects buy from you “without” even selling to them.
Magazines and television documentary shows on new products emerging on the market and the reviews they do with industry experts see’s us driving to the stores that are recommended at the end of the article or program in the hoards to “buy” with very little interaction with the salespeople required.
A few of the greatest example for online marketing that I’d like to show you and for you to learn from and use, are: – How-to’s – Checklists – Directories – Statistics – Measuring tools – Industry-specific reviews – Calendars – Addresses – Phone numbers – Web links – Conversion tables – Keyboard shortcuts – Glossaries – Calculations – Formulas – Q&A’s – Wikepidia.com – Blogs – Step-by-step reports – YouTube.com – Facebook.com – Squidoo.com – Reviews – Article Marketing – White papers – Online Website-Buildit.com
By using the above ideas, resources and websites you will come across so much information and ideas to “give” to your clients, they’re going to recognize you as the industry expert very quickly if you just keep producing and sharing yourself and who you are and what you’re about on a deeper level, you’re going to be discovered and related to.
Throughout this process of creating information marketing pieces you’ll be positioning yourself as the authority and knowledgeable guide who actually “cares” enough to help their target audience. This is so powerful and authentic, that you’re going to find people saying to you that they feel like they really know you already, because they could have been following your for months and studying your information (especially if you’re online and doing this, that is so very “POWERFUL”)!
Something to be aware of is, the online world is full of copied articles done by others, this is called “PLR” which is short for “Private Label Rights”.
I’ve personally found that by using ghost writers and PLR products won’t fulfill your authentic image as greatly as implementing your own expertise and knowledge inside your head and putting that into a knowledgeable format. And unless you have a very, very good writer (who will probably cost you a lot) who understands how you think and your own unique writing style, it’s best you create this information yourself.
Should you find yourself stumped for ideas, try searching Google and Yahoo Answers for solutions, an excellent ways to do this is by typing in “Ideas” only.
I hope that at least some of the above ideas have helped you to decide to “begin” using information of some sort, to build trust, authenticity and credibility into your business even more than there is now

3 Secrets To Effective Network Marketing
Network marketing is a very effective business model particularly for those looking to start a business with little money. The multi-level marketing (MLM) industry is surpassing the real estate industry in producing millionaires, so what’s the secret? Let’s examine what a typical network marketing opportunity looks like:
1. A person signs up with a company usually as a “Rep” or “Independent Business Owner”
2. Initial investment can range from $0 – $500 on average
3. The Rep will have access to a “back office” which includes a web site, access to marketing materials, training etc.
4. The Rep’s “Up-line” will assist them with the “Grand Opening” of their business, usually done through “home parties” or “business meetings”
This is a broad overview of the network marketing process for a new Rep. Although this business model is effective, many persons that begin network marketing businesses do not end up successful but rather broke, frustrated and viewed as a nuisance by their family and friends. There are a few reasons for this outcome:
1. Most people starting a network marketing business have no experience running a business
2. Many have no prior sales experience
3. Many refuse to follow the system that is in place for them
Network marketing is not for everyone. We all like to say, “anyone can do this” but this is just not true. That would be like me saying “Anyone can be a model”, this just isn’t true. With all things considered, if you determine that network marketing is for you then here are 3 secrets to a successful network marketing business:
Treat your business like a business, not a hobby
Many people who start network marketing businesses do so to make extra money. It is a great idea to work your business part-time at first but even on a part-time basis, you must treat it like a business. This means having set hours that you work your business. Many people get frustrated and say that network marketing doesn’t work but when you ask them how many calls they made for the week, or how many flyers they passed out, or what online marketing efforts they put in place, their stares are as blank as a deer in headlights! You have to make the commitment to work your business if it is going to be a success.
Stay plugged in
Typically network-marketing organizations offer tons of quality training to new and seasoned Reps alike. You have to stay plugged into your organization’s training. The people who are successful at network marketing are those who attend their weekly meetings, get on at least a few conference calls per week and shadow their Up-line.
Following the proven system
This is a must if you are going to have a successful MLM business. Following the proven system will help the person that does not have much business experience become successful in their network marketing business. Every organization has a tried and true system that they follow. A person with extensive business experience gets tripped up here many times because they think they know it all. Even the most experienced businessperson will need to follow the system. For a new rep it usually looks like this:
1. First 3 days: Make a list of 100 warm contacts
2. First 2 weeks: Plan your 1st home party/business meeting
3. First 30 days: Recruit your 1st three business owners
You get the idea!
So treat your business like a business, stay plugged in and follow the proven system and you’ll be on your way to network marketing success!

7 Keys To Business Networking Growth
Networking is not going away. No matter how high-tech, plugged in, or globalized the world becomes, networking will be around forever. You need networking, and you need it to work for you.
But as consumers, clients, customers, and executives all realize the power and usefulness of networking you are faced with the difficulty of discriminating how, when, why, and how much networking you should be doing.
For example, if you joined every networking web site there was, you could make a full time job of just filling out web forms. Or, if you attended every networking function in your industry, you would do nothing but eat, drink, and mingle.
So, what are you going to do. This article attempts to lay out seven keys to business networking growth.
1. Become the go-to guy for a networking question. As you begin to network, your circle of acquaintances grows. Your rolodex of numbers increases. And you start running out of room to put business cards. In time, you will build a reputation as a pretty good networker.
Now and then someone may come up to you and say, “Hey, do you happen to know a good franchise consultant?” You dig in your drawer, whip out a business card and say, “Give him a call. I met him last March. Nice guy.” Bingo. You’ve scored a point. You’ve made a connection.
And you’ve won some trust. Eventually, a few more people will come up to you and say, “Hey, I heard that you may know a good marketing firm…” And so it has begun. By and by, you will receive a certain degree of recognition as someone who is very well connected, knows a lot of people, and can point people in the right direction. But networking is a snowballing adventure.
The more people you know, the more people you can get to know. The more people that come to you with networking questions, the more people you can find out about and get to know. Make it your goal to become the networking guru in your space.
2. Seek opportunities to help others. Helping people is at the core of networking. A networking attempt is so much more than a handshake and an exchange of a name card. It is so much more than accepting a connection on LinkedIn.
The value of your network is not measured by the amount of names that you know, but by the amount of help you can provide. As you survey the networking landscape, don’t look at is as a host of names to know. Look at is as a host of people to help. After all, the only truly valuable networking will be from people whom you know personally and whom you have helped.
Once you help people, especially in a sacrificial or altruistic way, you’ve won their trust. They have a degree of confidence in you. That confidence will translate into them recommending you. That is exactly what you want. That is the way to grow your network, and that is a crucial key to business networking growth.
3. Seek opportunities for others to help you. But it works both ways. Not only should you be helping others, but others can be helping you. If you need help, ask for it.
Gaining help from others creates a human connection that can’t be gained any other way. Besides, you get to see the skills of another from a unique angle. You get to see how the person works. You get to experience their product.
And you get to establish a mutual relationship of trust. That goes miles in the networking world. People willl remember those whom they help, and it is the perfect way to build a strong, lasting network.
4. Be everywhere often. Though it sounds daunting, it is possible to carve out a significant presence for yourself. The key word here is “strategic.” As I mentioned, it is an incredible waste of time to join every networking site out there.
Though you will receive a plethora of invitations, be selective. Join only the ones that will best accomplish your purposes. It should be standard, however, to at least have a presence on LinkedIn, the current networking site leader.
Other industry-specific websites should be consulted as well. In addition, attend several strategic functions as often as you can. Again, too much is too much, but make it your practice to be at the important ones as often as possible.
5. Know people well. When you meet people, remember their names and some specifics about them. Don’t be ashamed to write names down. You need to remember them. Carry around a pen and pad of paper, and jot down notes.
Not just for names, but facts, too. When you pick up the phone to call that potential customer, it will go a long way to say, “By the way, how’s your mother-in-law? I remember you mentioned she had surgery last week.”
6. Host something. Be a networking leader and go ahead and host something. It can be as simple as a backyard barbecue for all the CFOs in your town. Or it can be as big as a golf outing for all the engineering firms.
Either way, you can quickly become a networking mogul, just by organizing events. After all, once the event is over, you have a list of everyone who signed up–complete with numbers and all.
7. Finally, make it fun. Networking can be a fulfilling hobby. After all, you’re interacting with people. People can be a lot of fun. Face the challenge of being a networking guru, but make it an enjoyable and refreshing hobby.

7 Steps To Value-Based Network Marketing
Whatever your business, network marketing can be an invaluable tool to promoting and selling your product or service. However, it is tempting when dealing with any type of multi-level marketing system, to ignore or belittle proper quality and value considerations of your business strategy. Network marketing can generate a lot of revenue in a short period of time, but adding value and quality to your product or service will stabilize your business and help to retain customers. With due attention to the value of your service, you will start to see more returning customers, and with a little more preparation and research, your profits will steadily increase well into the future.
There are seven important considerations to developing a multi-level marketing plan. These steps will increase your business’s productivity and customer satisfaction level. Like any plan for business improvement, these steps require a little extra work, and include such topics as informative, well-structured training materials and coaching opportunities for your distributors or independent agents, and detailed analyses of your product or service in order to determine directions for improvement. But this added preparation will yield outstanding results.
Step One: Quality of your product or service. Compare your product or service to those of your competition. What incentive is there to choose yours over theirs? Make sure that you cut as few corners as possible. Use slightly better materials or supplies. Review your process of production and make improvements where applicable. Since your product and/or service is the foundation of your entire business, it is imperative to ensure that your foundation is rock solid.
Step Two: Form and function. Does your product meet it’s expectations? And is it designed in such a way to naturally achieve those expectations? Remember, the second half to a product’s overall quality is it’s form and function. Your customers have a need that they have chosen to quench with the purchase of your product or service. Make sure they are getting what they pay for.
Step Three: Time and place. With a quality product or service, properly formed and functional according to its purpose, you still need to consider whether the time and place are right for your business to thrive. If your business is fragrances and toiletries, and Hannah Montana has just released a line of designer fragrances, jump on the bandwagon! Discontinue the Britney Spears line and stay current. Make sure your products and services are aimed at current market trends, and tailored to localized phenomena.
Step Four: Recruitment. In a Network Marketing campaign, your distributors and/or associates are your backbone. The Internet is currently full of get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid scams, etc., and your potential distributors are either going to be very leery, or thoughtlessly hopeful. Concentrate on the value of your product or service when recruiting new associates. Try to present a realistic picture of the opportunity you are offering them. Educated people are productive people. Be honest!
Step Five: Training and preparation. Your new distributors and associates, and their downline distributors and associates, will be infinitely more productive and enthusiastic if they begin their work with a complete understanding of what they are doing. Offering them detailed training materials and additional coaching will help to build their confidence and improve their success rate.
Step Six: Process and procedure. The more your Network Marketing spreads, the more you’ll want to ensure that everything is running as smoothly as possible so as to maintain a steady, stable growth. Your distributors and associates must have specific guidelines and procedural rules that should be strictly followed for the purposes of quality control, records keeping, customer retention, etc. This will improve your overall comfort level, your businesses productivity, and your associates’ efficiency.
Step Seven: Adaptation. Always pay attention to current market trends, local occurrences, fads, economic periods of plenty and poverty, etc. An informed, up-to-date marketing strategy will never fail to compensate for any shifts in customer expectations, needs, and desires. Make sure your product or service is exactly what customers want and need at that exact time and place, and convince them to utilize your business again for future purchases.
Just keep in mind that, while Network Marketing is an effective way to sell your products or services, it is also a complicated process that must be planned and implemented properly in order to maximize potential. Cater to your customer’s needs. Make sure your distributors and associates are properly prepared. Stability is important in business, and with it, you will ensure a prosperous and stable future.

How to Support Members in Your Personal Network
Rule No.1: The most important part of every business is PEOPLE; and the second most important part of every business is PEOPLE. Not the product or service being offered …. but People.
As you grow and develop your Network Marketing business, the people actually become even more important than ever!
Yes, they now need nurturing and supporting; encouraging and inspiring; teaching and leading; guidance and challenging; and they need to know that their team leaders (you) have their interests at heart.
They may develop fears; they may hessitate until they are convinced that what they’re doing is full of integrity; they may simply be slow starters requiring that encouragement and support mentioned above; they may be keen but nervous or shy; they may be full of bravado and talk but show no action; …. you will be challenged by this whole concept of being a support ‘rock’ for your team. But, even though it may be a challenge, you can do it!
Like every good leadership role: teach and show people how to do it right by being a great example!
In other words: be the change you wish to see in the world; and the same in your business. If you can show your team or network that what you’re doing is actually easy, then they will learn that it is easy and replicate what you are doing. They will mirror you and your actions!
Remember that they will also mirror your lack of actions, if that were the case.
Stay in regular contact with the closest members of your team or network, and if you teach them to do the same, then your regular contact will be able to be regulated and minimised to a handful of key players; then they will contact their key players; and so on. Remember the rule of Duplication is happening here: your team members will mock or copy your every move, unless you’re extremely lucky to score a freak MLM Lion who runs their own race regardless of anybody else. Every now and then that happens, so if it does, embrace it and consider yourself very lucky.
Remember that the MLM Lion may well become your best teacher if you’re willing to learn.
Supporting the members in your team actually means taking responsibility, teaching by example, being there for them, and showing endless courage and determination towards your own success, and theirs too!
You may choose to hold regular team meetings, depending on geographical locations of course.
You may also make use of skype or any other technological tools now available to reach the world at either no cost or minimal cost. These methods are extremelyh cost-effective and efficient in their method of use.
One suggestion that we have is to form a ‘local’ social networking group of other like-minded MLMer’s, where you can actually mastermind your individual needs or questions requiring local knowledge and experience. Masterminding is actually bringing topics to the table where trust and integrity are used openly within the group to answer that specific topic or question.
This trust and integrity level of any group takes some time to establish, so be patient and nurture the needs of the group members as you grow. Trust creates more trust; and integrity will promote more of itself; in time.
Regular contact with your people (the most important part of your business) and teaching them to be in regular contact with their people, will grow and develop a team with sustainable goals and desires, and a team who will be a lesson unto themselves!
The support and nurturing of any group of people requires these important traits: Persistence; Courage; Patience; and total Determination to succeed in what you’re doing.
At times you will need to challenge some of your team; this is part of your role so do it with respect. Be the change you want to see in the world, and in your network, and you will see that change happening around you with wonderful regularity.
Happy Networking!
